Accusation of anti-Semitism as strongest killing weapon
Two articles from the US magazine COUNTERPUNCH highlight a very serious problem which presently darken the politics of the Western states, notable in the US and Great Britain. It is worth to read them carefully and to activate ones own cognitive faculties!

The Dead Men Society
Old men, experienced, mature and war oriented, orchestrate war, and the masses follow willingly. Quite different to the cultural concept of "Dead Poets Society" they do not indulge in art, but in destruction, annihilation. War is not only a big business. War is the fulfillment of their deep lying drives: to strike, to kill, to conquer, to reign by war.
After the attacks by France, the United Kingdom, and the US against Syria, which were based on the unproven assertions, that the Assad-Regime had employed once again chemical weapons against its own people. In rapid speed the vassals and satelite states of the US acknowledged this "fact" - without questioning the credibility of the power who notoriously used and uses desinformation and fabricated propaganda to cover their actions. The official program is: believe it. Believe it, as we believed the facts about weapons of mass destruction by Saddam Hussein, the most prominent falsity of the US.
If the credibility of the embedded mass media is questioned, the critics are denounced as Anti-semitic war mongers, as stupid American haters, as agents of Moscow. "Lügenpresse" ist wrong by the simple fact that many of the Right or extreme Right share this view. No, the embedded press is right and correct, the tasks of the US are necessary and human, Israel is a democracy and not to be criticized - unless one is an Anti-semite, a Neonazi or agent of Moscow.
This simple world view justifies any action. "Any" includes any form of war. The right is with the power and the power is with the US. Join in or be destroyed, put out of action, of life, of future because the future is with the US. The "friends" of the US are eager to play their part in this war game, especially Great Britain and France. The Germans, these re-educated non-people built by non-persons, leave it by words so far, but underwrite any action in the name of dignity and freedom. They have learned their lessons and have converted into dogs, who listen to their master's voice, and who lick their boots.
If one consults the quality press in Germany or Switzerland, one doesn't finde one critical question oder comment on the maneuver which coins the Western politics. The situation in the UK or US is almost the same; but at least some media show a kind of independence and display criticism.

In defence of the ‘white’ curriculum
Student campaigns for 'inclusive' courses are undermining academic freedom.
‘Why is my curriculum white?’ This provocative question is the title of a film being made by University College London’s (UCL) Black and Minority Ethnic Students’ Network. The film, produced in conjunction with academic staff, is part of a campaign ‘pushing for the most inclusive, well-rounded and progressive learning environment possible’. UCL students are acting on recommendations from the National Union of Students (NUS) and Universities Scotland that state ‘institutions must strive to minimise Euro-centric bias in curriculum design, content and delivery, and establish mechanisms to ensure this happens’.

Die Profession des Schriftstellers
In seinem Beitrag “Does
Money Make Us Write Better?” (NYR Blog. July 20, 2012)
Heute belegen viele beginnende
go to creative writing schools and so already have feedback from professionals.
Many of them will self-publish short stories on line and receive comments from
unknown readers through the web. Yet I notice on the few occasions when I have
taught creative writing courses that this encouragement, professional or
otherwise, is never enough. Students are glad to hear you think they can write,
but they need, as I did, the confirmation of a publishing contract, which
involves money. Not that they’re calculating how much money, not at this point.
They’re thinking of a token of recognition—they want to exist, as writers.“
Beispiel Robert Walser: „In his masterpiece Jakob von Gunten, Robert Walser has his young alter ego commiserate with his artist brother and question how a
person can ever be at ease if his or her mental well-being depends on the
critical judgment of others.”
ohne Verlagsvertrag, ohne Publikationen.
Besonders interessant an Parks Überlegungen
„community of reference“: „The key idea here it seems to me is that of a
community of reference. Writers
can deal with a modest income if they feel they are writing toward a body of
readers who are aware of their work and buy enough of it to keep the publisher
happy. But the nature of contemporary globalization, with its tendency to unify
markets for literature, is such that local literary communities are beginning
to weaken, while the divide between those selling vast quantities of books
worldwide and those selling very few and mainly on home territory is growing
all the time.“
Paradoxerweise erschwert also die

Patriot of Persia: Muhammad Mossadegh and a Very British Coup by Christopher de Bellaigue – review. This fascinating biography of a 1950s Persian nobleman and politician explains much of Iran's antipathy towards Britain
Lindsey Hilsum, The Observer, Sunday 5 February 2012
Patriot of Persia:
To rehtink history is to learn and to compare: presently the Western politics, led by Israle and the US as well as their allies, not only revive colonial practices and strategies but increase pressure to bring Iran (now also Syria) to a downfall for easy takeover and exploitation of natural resources. In 1953 the reason was an almost bankrupt Britain who wanted desperately revenues from Iran which the lost after the nationalization of the oil industry by M. Mossadegh. Therefore a terroris was started and instigated and Mossadegh overthrown.
The pattern is almost the same today. For the naive public the WEstern powers speak of democracy, freedom or human rights. In reality the business is maintaining and strengthening the hegemonial frames for their political controll and exploitation.
And, one has to remember, it hasn't started in the fifties but in the beginning of the 20th century, when the country via its resources literally has been "bought" and was kept like under protectorate.
Not many in the West do know the basics in history. The propaganda has ensured a totally distorted view of Iran and the other nations of the Middle East. While the enemies, the islamic nations, are negatively carcatured, Israel's distorted view results in the opposite: the only democracy in the region, an lawful modern state.
Even the Britsh reviews praise the quality of Bellaigue's biography. (At the same time the foster hegemonial politics and wars...)
The example of Mossadegh makes the hatred of many of the moslem world against Great Britain, the US and Isral, if not the whole of Europe, fully understandable.
Acutally, it would be proper time, that these nations pay for their crimes.
One should keep in mind, what Pankaj Mishra writes in his review:
"The story of the Anglo-American destruction of Iran's hopes of establishing a liberal modern state has been told many times, but the cautionary message of 1953 is still far from being absorbed."
"War between Iran and the United States has never seemed more likely than in recent months, as American politicians and journalists dutifully endorse Binyamin Netanyahu's bluster. There is little sign in the mainstream press here or in the US that anyone is paying attention to de Bellaigue and other knowledgable writers on Iran. "
